IE Keeps Restricting Local Files

If you’ve ever tried viewing your web pages stored on your local computer you may have run into the dreaded restriction bar. This is the information toolbar that pops up warning you about restricted material. It looks like a big deal but it really isn’t. You don’t have hidden scripts in your web page or anything like that most likely.

This is a simple fix but not everyone knows about it. A single line of html code will cause this bar to go away and allow you to view your sites with no further annoyance.

For those of you who like the details you’ll find a high quality article here:
Mark of the Web

Pretty much here’s the line you have to insert:
< !-- saved from url=(0023)http://www.YOURDOMAINNAME.com/ -- >

I inserted a blank space after the < and before the > so be sure to remove them when you insert this into your html.

The (0023) has to be a number equal to the characters in your URL link.
