It had to happen someday. Bill Gates is retiring from Microsoft.
Whether he’s getting older and is beginning to realize there’s more to life than just business or whether he’s just made enough money, he’s done. In July of 2008 Bill’s gonna retire. Or is he?
He’s stepped down from other positions in Microsoft in the past but hasn’t really left. With that kind of money on the table, why would he leave? He’s got more money than he can spend during the remainder of his life so the game of business must have been what’s kept him going.

Sooner or later YOU will be in the same position that Bill’s in right now. Let’s say you build a successful online business. It grows to immense proportions. You’re making tons of money. What are you going to do with it when you get ready to stop working?
Do you have a plan to pass ownership on to your children? Are you going to sell it and live off your investments? Will you take on a partner, train your partner and give the business to him or her in exchange for a percentage of the annual profits until the day you die?
Proactive planning is a huge key to any successful business. Whatever you decide is best for you be proactive about it. Make a plan. Follow the plan. Have a transition path in place. Just a thought for you to take to heart. Keep on workin’ until you reach the level of success you want.
