So Many Christmas Freebies!

If you’re like most of us you may have just a touch of skepticism in you. The internet breeds skepticism. There are always claims of great deals of money being made. Of course, it costs nothing to get involved and there is no time needed to make the money.

What’s more is that it’s so easy that a monkey could do it with one hand tied behind his back while eating a banana split! Yeah, right! ;)

I’ve been through so many of these things that sometimes I think I’ll upchuck if I have to read just one more sales page. I just went through the annual Christmas roast. You know, where all the marketers are so kind hearted that they’ll give you just about anything, including the kitchen sink, if you’ll just sign up for one more itty bitty newsletter.

Many of these offers are bogus at best but there are plenty of really great offers as well. Some of them are duplicated. Some don’t work! Some just take you to sales pages and there aren’t any downloadable products.

Well, I wanted to make a lot of friends so I signed up for 108 new newsletters. This is in addition to the 80 or so that I already subscribe to. I’m looking forward to finding out who’s been naughty and who’s been nice.

Why so many newsletter signups? Did I really want all those products? No, I don’t need all that stuff. I don’t particularly want to read nearly 200 newsletters either. Especially since many of them mail daily!!! Yikes!!!

I’m studying the writing and the behavior of the newsletter owners. From reading their writing, seeing their offers, observing the frequency of their mailing I can tell a lot. For instance, are they sending me information or is it just offers? It makes a difference.

If they’re just sending me offers they see me as a source of food. If they’re sending me information they see me as a person. Take note newsletter owners. Sending offers is fine, In fact, I want offers from time to time. Sending me offers constantly without providing valuable CONTENT is a big no-no,

Send me an occasional offer and setup a primary page where you handle other offers. A centralized location where I can choose to click and view whenever I want to view offers. Test it and see if you don’t make more money.
